I recently took up reading blogs again. No reason in particular except I happen to find a few of them rather interesting. Reading about other people’s lives and opinions can be quite entertaining at times. Mostly however I follow photography and travel blogs.

In another life I would have been a jet setter, traveling the world, living, experiencing as much as I possibly could. Growing up I was fortunate to do a lot of traveling with my mom and brother. Traveling by car covering the entire west coast throughout parts of 7 states on the west side. I can remember the hours my brother and I would spend reading through the various AAA travel books looking for something interesting to see along the way on our road trips. There were lots of great memories. I never would have thought those memories would be what gave my brother and I a lot to talk about especially in those last few years he was still with us. Different subject for a different day. I miss my brother terribly.

OK time to get back on track here. Maybe. I seem to be all over the place this morning for some reason hence why this has titled Wednesday’s ramblings. I started with a plan and direction I assure you.

I have been a business blogger of sorts for years. Mostly used it for sharing recent sessions of my photography business. I did have a personal blog for a short while to share with friends and family the goings ons in my life but eventually stopped as a result of the popularity of Facebook and my personal favorite, Instagram.

Did I mention I am a HUGE fav of Instagram? I can’t say my photos are all that interesting as of recently since I mostly share photos of snow….snow…and more snow. We have been buried under it for months. As much as I love Minnesota, I do gotta say I have my days I miss California and being able to drive to the beach on any given day year around and go play.

I would love to get back into blogging again. I don’t have a set direction yet though I do think it would be a great way to share some of the many interesting things I find around the cyber world, like my favorite travel site Roadtrippers I shared yesterday.
